NEW YORK — Hundreds of wireless networks that offer free high-speed Internet access are sprouting across the USA. They're in a park in Midtown Manhattan, a housing project in Boston, a movie house pub in Austin and along the waterfront in Portland, Ore.

I'll go further: Wi-Fi is one of those grassroots phenomena that will soon become as ubiquitous as the PC itself. The latest laptops have Wi-Fi antennas built into the lids, while the wireless access points, which send and receive the Wi-Fi signals, now cost less than $100.

i'm interested in wireless is because this technology is gradually chaning our way of life, making it more convenient for us to interact with object as well as people to people and will this continue to have an affect on our society into the far future.

[web skills]
i do not have a hight level experience in web design but i'm a little familia with basic html and flash.

[like to]
in this class i would like to work on web design, physical compting and visual design. one or the other is fine for
me.

i'm an undergrat student at my last semester now, majoring in product design. during my study here in parsons i have experienced with fashion design and graphic design. i am sooooo glade its my last year here!!! i've transfered here over 5yrs ago from rhode island college. love it here and proud to be a new yorker.

just to let everyone knows...as i have already mentioned that this is my last semester here at parsons and i have a senior thesis due in april. for this reason, i will apologize in advance if i slag off in this class in the begining of this semester. i will try the best i can.
